Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of interpreting and translation services by Burmese Chin Interpreter in Adelaide. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Burmese Chin Interpreter in Adelaide.  Additionally, the terms “you” or “your” refer to the customers who engage our services. By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms.

 

1. Scope of Services

We provide professional interpreting services in Chin Falam, Chin Mizo, and Chin Zanniat, including but not limited to:

  • On-site and remote interpreting

  • Conference, legal, medical, and community interpreting

  • Translation of supporting materials and documents of all nature in the available/required dialects.

 

2.  Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or signed agreement).

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged 100% of the agreed fee.

 

3.  Fees & Payment

  • Fees are quoted based on varied durations, depending on the service type. Please refer to services tab to obtain a more detailed breakdown of fees for different services. 

  • Invoices are issued upon completion of services or as agreed.

  • Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise specified.

  • Late payments may incur a 5% late fee per month.

 

4.  Confidentiality

We uphold strict confidentiality in accordance with the Australian NAATI Code of Ethics and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). All client information, documents, and conversations are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed without written consent, unless required by law.

 

5.  Refunds

  • Refunds are only issued for prepaid services cancelled with at least 72 hours’ notice.

  • No refunds will be issued for completed services unless a breach of contract or failure to deliver agreed services is proven.

  • Disputes must be raised within 7 days of service delivery.

 

6.  Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.

  • Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question.

 

7.  Intellectual Property

  • All materials created during service delivery remain the property of the client upon full payment.

  • We reserve the right to retain anonymized samples for portfolio or training purposes unless otherwise agreed.

 

8.  Service Limitations

  • We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in real-time interpreting due to the nature of live communication.

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate context, terminology, and briefing materials in advance.
